AGENDA

one of the staments i found very interesting was the quote from John Maxwell what does your agenda say about.it made me realise that our daily activities say alot about us.i  realised that we can not claim to be something if our lives does not reflect that.our agenda are like our actions and they speak louder than our words.it made me see that for the future i have to be able to include the things i need to reach my goal in life into my daily life

CHOICES

The speech on Friday  made see that our lives our success or failures are not determined by fate it is determined by our choices or decisions.something that really stood out to me about Ed Thomas unique life was the choice he made to be a better person even though he came from a a family where his dad was an alcoholic he choose to take a different part other than that of his dad.Most times in life we make excuses for our choices and i also learnt that most of our choices good or bad do not only affect us but the people around us ,Ed Thomas made a choice in life to be a good person and he was able to change a lot of lives and the guy who killed him Mark Becker made  a wrong choice in life and started doing drugs which left him with a mental illness which made him kill his coach he created a very big loss to his community and the Thomas family because of the choices he made .And i also admire the way the Thomas family handled the death they choose to forgive the family of the guy who murdered their dad .this made me see that we can either chose to be a success or  a failure

MISSION STATEMENT

A mission statement is like a purpose for your life.my mission statement when i created mine was to be able to help save the life of kids by becoming a pediatric doctor and be able to able to put a smile on peoples  faces.And i would also like people to be able to say the to at i was someone who was able to turn hopeless situation in life for the better. And i also strive to incorporate  these attributes into my life to be determine,courageous and caring to be able to achieve my mission statement

STARTING WITH THE END IN MIND

Starting with the end to me means thinking of what good comes out out what you are striving for .when you have the end in mind it keeps you moving in difficult moments because its like viewing a prize.when we have the end in mind it keeps us focused because  we know we are looking forward to something that is really important to us ,it helps us to persevere and stay strong in difficult moments.it keeps us moving in very trying times or times we feel like giving up because we know we are fighting for something worth fighting for

SETTING GOALS

goals are like a purpose of our existence. if we do not set goals in life we just drift through life with out a purpose  or direction ,we would just be like someone driving with no direction, such a driver can end up where he does not want to be  .if we set smart goals in life we make a purpose for our lives we have a direction in life our lives are no longer determined by fate but by  us.because a smart goal is like an exercise that makes  us stretch

BE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD(GHANDI)

If you want to see a change in your life you need to take a step towards making that  change in our lives. we have everything we need to succeed in life within us, we need to believe ourselves because if you  do not believe in ourselves then we can not set smart goals in our lives. we need to first see a need for a change in our life and work towards effecting that change.we need to stop making excuses for mistakes in our lives and take responsibility for them because excuses satisfy only those who make them

CHARACTER

our character speak alot about us. a leader who does not show good characters is not in any influencing those he is leading. A leader needs to posses good characters like humility because any one who goes into leadership with the concept that leadership is about gaining power is going to be a very unsuccessful leader because leadership is about serving people and if you do not posses humility and other characters like honesty  and integrity such a leader will be a story of failure
